Art has been my truest form of communication. I have shared the struggles, passions, sacrifices, and perseverance of my people. This journey through art has been challenging and yet a cathartic outlet for my trauma. Through it I have experienced joy, advocacy, and self-love. During the pandemic I entered a new phase in my process and could not be more excited about the outcome. My collection currently examines the practice of scarring, beauty, immigration, and my vision for a world where people that look like me are given their flowers while they are still HERE.
