My Name is Stephanie Pierre, I'm an undergrad student at York CUNY college, but I have plans on transition either to Brooklyn College or Hunter. I'm a first generation Haitian-American artist.

Honestly, ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to be an artist. I'm fascinated by vibrant colors, and creating images in my head. I'm a specialized in many different forms of art such as writing, photography, sculpting, and painting. My main focus is painting because that's where I'm more skilled. I like painting about my culture, my imagination, and my childhood. To me creating art is more than just a "hobby." Art has saved me from many destructive paths, and it has helped me to gain confidence and heal from cultural and childhood trauma.
