Born in Haiti, 1959, Gladys has been in the arts since the age of 12. She works with both oil and acrylic on canvas; she is a master at artisanal works, and jewelry making. She is an art teacher in Haiti and is currently assisting with the establishment of a nonprofit organization focusing solely on Haitian female artists. Her work has been sold all over and she is currently working on a new collection in Jacmel, Haiti.
