Linda Desmangles is a Haitian-American artist who was born and

raised in Brooklyn. She acquired her Bachelor degree in Studio Art

from City College of New York and has studied at the Art Students

League of New York.

Her works are based on emotions and Haitian Spirituality. Her style

of painting with fluid motion is influenced by dancers and is also

influenced by the syncretism of African vodou and Catholicism.

Linda has showcased her work at art shows and Haitian cultural

events throughout New York in hopes to empower and enlighten

others about Haitian spirituality.
