Classique became enamored with performance art since the tender age of 3, watching “Showtime at the Apollo” and “Star Search,” unknowingly allowing her heart to be molded with the artistry of music. Her foundation as a musician was at the age of 8 – learning to play the Viola by ear. As a self taught instrumentalist, a few years later she expanded her knowledge of a similar instrument, the Violin, in which she took her musical talents to a higher level. Furthermore, the acknowledgement of her gift did not go unnoticed – she went on to becoming a 3x winner of the nationally syndicated “Showtime at the Apollo”.
Classique has performed with fellow talents and musicians traveling the country. Moreover, she’s performed among remarkable artists in the industry including Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Gym Class Heroes: Travie McCoy, DMX, Lost Boyz: Mr. Cheeks, Asap Rocky, Skrillex, Driicky Graham and many more. In addition to being an opening act or sharing stages with amazing artists, Classique also featured in local newspapers, GQ magzine UK, Spotlight Magazine LA and notable music industry events such as the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury, NJ; Hot 97 America’s Top Music Producer, Hot 97 Dj Spynof’s Mic Check Wednesdays, and All-Star Music Award Show. Classique has continued to gain recognition for her talents through social media from known celebrities and creatives like Remy Ma, Chuck D from Public Enemy, Hot97 Radio and more.
Classique continues to express her artistry as a singer/songwriter who takes pride in her coded lyrics and unique sound. Classique continues to reach for the stars and recognizes that the sky is not the limit but a milestone for achieving Greatness.
